Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi All!

I'm just a computer programmer that got bored sitting at the computer all the time so I decided to to take up Mountain Biking.

Currently I'm riding a stock Raleigh Microlite mountain bike.

I'm currently trying to decide whether to just upgrade to a newer bike or just replace the components (mainly deraileurs) I have Alivero currently and was thinking of changing to Shimano XT's. :)

Welp I thought I'd just send a shout out to everyone here! I'm off to learn more stuff from this forum!.

Welcome Frosty:

Glad to have you here. I must say, it is difficult to get the feel of winter riding in Southern Arizona. Sometimes I need a jacket though. :p

Thanks,

haven't tried winter riding yet. Still have to get better at Spring/Summer/Fall riding before I add snow and ice =)
