i have a stripped seat post clamp and have a new one and dont know how to remove it any ideas
try cutting through the screw/bolts or whatever with a hacksaw
If it's the kind with a bolt threaded into the collar, and no nut on the other end, the best tool is a mini tool like a Dremel, with a cut-off wheel. Whatever you do, be patient so you don't mess up your bike.

EZ Out. Drill a small hole, tap it in, and drill the whole bolt out in reverse.

Yeah, what he said. I've said 100 times not to use a multi-tool to work on your bike - they're for emergency repairs only. Today I decided to install a Kore Chain Reactor on the tandem, using a Topeak Hummer. Now I must find some new screws...
