i want to make a fixie that will be good for track racing as well since their is a velodrome around 45 min away. i dont want a crazy expensive one nor a 2 dollar junker. something under 300 or around 300. the usual nitto bars, and good low resistence tire etc.

what frames are worth getting? steel, AL? any certain brands i should look at or stay away?

any help would be great

I don't think there were any rides at Yojimbos in his range. Maybe try eBay too.
