anytime i land a drop or certain times when i'm jumping my chain falls off, also i bunnyhopped to go down a staircase ended up about three steps short, rode the rest off the stairs and at the bottom my chain was off, my rear deraileur is a Deore

second the chain guide suggestion. when i get some extra cash, i'm planning to invest in an e.13 drs. for now though, i've removed a few links on my chain to make it a bit tighter. so far this has helped somewhat.

Maybe try a chain tensioner, they used to be known as a daves chain device. If your bike is a full suzzi you arnt going to be able to put 1 on. It could just be a simple case that you need to take a couple of links out of yopur chain.
