29-inch bikes are really calling my name for some reason. i guess my question is, which manufacturers make 29er's? i know gary fisher has the paragon and x calibur, but those are the only ones i'm aware of. if you know any specific models, then please list them along with approximate price.

thanks

Gary Fisher also makes "The Rig" which is single speed. Getting a test ride may be difficult. Apparently from what I've read GF didn't think it would sell. As a consequence they are building '06's already because of the demand.

I also heard rumours that next year Kona is going to do a 29". Don't know if it will be SS or geared.

You're on the right track...29ers will only get more popular as riders recognize their advantges.

cool, thanks. where do 29ers start in terms of price? are there low tier $300 types, or are you looking at $1200+ to get you in the door?
