My friend gave me an old bike today and I'm hoping someone on the forum is familiar with it. It is a 1983 Fuji Grande SE, it's a 12 speed road bike. It's all red, in good condition. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me more about it, particularly what its value is. Thanks in advance for the assistance!

Don't own a digital camera. If it helps, the bike is fire engine red with a 5-stripe design (sort of rainbow like) near the seat. It says Fuji Grand SE on the frame. Typical handlebars. Nobody is familiar with this bike?

What are the components? What size, what condition (and be honest here...)? Where are you located (this is probably a very important factor, since going rates vary greatly with location)? As an ethical aside, if someone (a friend) gave it to you, could you justifiy selling it? I'm sure he was capable of selling it himself.

Honestly, without any information, it's probably worth what he charged you...
