It's a fun thing to think about, different riding styles and all. No one's allowed to say Lance. Well, unless that's your name.

Whoever comes in last place,....that's me :)

the one who walks up the climbing stages, and then flys off the side of the road due to excessive speed on the downhills.

Dave Watson, who did a road gap over the Tour.

hahahaha Thats awesome gastro :D

For me lance. Simply because he seems to be the only one that rides dirt well. But even then, he doesn't ride what I enjoy so it barely fits there too :)

Who is the guy trailing along at the very back, barely able to hang on, and wondering every day if this might be the day he misses the cut-off time?

Kick @$$!

Two girls actually told me just last week that I look like you know who. They didn't even know that I rode, much less on a Trek.

More realistically though, is there anybody who is known for looking for rough spots in the road just for the exhiliration of flowing through them or who wastes ridiculous amounts of energy burning people on sharp corners only to get blown by again on the next climb? That'd be me.

That would be me. You'll have to be satisfied with second-to-last ;)

I am the guy who drops out in the 9th stage because of "overall fatigue". (and probably crashed two or three times along the way)

If there's anybody that got a late start because they couldn't haul themself out of bed that would be me.

Although everyone talks a lot of crap about Ulrich, and that happens to me too :). Not enough disciple, needs to take things more seriously, could drop a few pounds. It all sounds familiar. No head first encounters with the back of a van lately though.

Hmm, Hinault, superficially anyway, I have a sort of never say die craziness, I'm not very tall, and my legs build big muscles when I ride enough, and my arms too a bit.

The Bernard Hinault of 1985, or Hinault of 2005? There's at least 75 lbs more of him to love these days.

I'm a pretty small dude and I like climbing and can probably climb faster than I go on flats :o Not too familiar with all the riders, so whoever fits my description...

I'm the guy Bob Roll says, "suffers like an animal" on the climbs.

Are any of the riders on "Le Tour" riding a hardtail mountain bike with slicks and a homebrew 20 watt light system that weighs about 6 pounds..... and making regular stops at Subway, Starbucks, and Krispy Kreme?.... that would be the one I resemble

That guy that missed the start of each leg due to a hangover. Sometimes seen as guy trying to run with Lance Armstrong. Not to confused with the runner guy wearing afro wig and speedo.

Hehe, my max downhill is just a smidgen over the average for the latest TT they had...
My max on flats is probably not even close to their speeds uphill...

Eddy's dropped a bunch of weight, he's riding again almost daily, he apparently gained weight due to medications and perhaps some surgery. But these days the Cannibal is back!

I didn't know Hinault gained a lot of weight, I'd have to guess the 1985 version because that's about all the heavy I get.

hmm...don't look like the riders, do not look like a podium girl (too old, but then again--any girl over 16 would be :))
That leaves: looking like Paolo Bettini's Mom (assuming, of course that she needs to lose 25lbs and her nose is somewhat smaller)...

Maggie Backstedt or perhaps Johan Museeuw. Not the always the fastest, not a great climber, not a great sprinter - but I have a bunch of endurance & determination. Also I'm MB's weight (198 lb.).

...and I don't mind bumpy roads with coatings of wet gunk on them. ;)

Stuart O'Grady, just for the freckles and aussie accent. I hope he wins the green jersey too. GO STUEY!!

Yesterday, when Lance was doing one his post stage interviews, he was asked about the last group he was leading up the mountain and was he trying to lose them also. He said it would have been easy to fly up the hill faster, but the hill was so long, he had to keep the tempo down a tad, as he still had quite a ways to go and he might blow up. And then he said those guys weren't "pancakes" he was riding with, so he had to keep his enthusiasm in check. I am more like one of the "pancakes" he was referring to.

I've always identified with Jan Ullrich. We are the same age, height, and weight.
I like to mash big gears, and I'm also of German descent; blonde, blue-eyed, and freckled.
I also live on beer, sausage, and pretzels in the off-season (JK :D)
