I saw a used Lemond Alp D'Huez for $1200 Canadian.

It had Shimano 600 components. So I guess it's 7-8 years old?

Is it worth that much? It seemed to be in okay condition.

NO! You can pick up a current model of this complelete for about $900 and a frame for $300 right now. This of course is in u.s dollars which equates to $1400 and $466.

I saw it at one of those second-hand sports goods.

They have a special system of pricing. On the price tag it lists prices descending, with a date beside each. Meaning that if it is not sold by say next year July , the price will be $500.

So I think that will be there for a long time.
