Howdy All!

I'm about a month into riding and on a REAL cheap bike! But it's new and actually pretty comfortable for now. I'm 39 and I spent a little over 10 years sittin' on my tush for work (need I say more?!?!?! :D ).

I also just quit smoking 96 days ago after over 25 years of puffin'. I feel GREAT!!!!

My neighbor has inspired me to start riding (he's got a nice Trek and rides with me on his "short days"... which I think he's pretty much invented to help get me riding! LOL Pretty GrOoVy friend if ya ask me!).

I've actually gained about 5 lbs. since I started riding, walking and doing LIGHT upper body work outs... but I've actually lost that 5 in the last week or so again!

I ride about 4 to 5 miles a day now (one day hard, one day relaxed pace) and I'm actually going to double check a new route today in the car to bump it up a few miles at a slightly easier pace for awhile.

Anyway... that's about all that's earthshakingly exciting about me. Just be prepared for lots of ignorance flowing from this here IP!!!! :D
