This is a funny story, both bikes aren't worth stealing anyway but still:

Next bikes are petty nice for what they cost..... My daughter's has Shimano shifters/ derailleur's/cranks/brakes. It's a F/S with about 3" of travel, and also has aluminum frame/rims. Overall, for the $89 it costed, I think it's a good deal. It appears to weigh about 35 lbs.

I have more $$$ than that in my front brake.... :(

Talking of theives, I have a Gary Fisher insured for £1500 and my fiancee has an Orange insured at about £1000. Both of these were in a shed at a previous house along with a get to work hack bike which cost me £20. We got back from a muddy saturday ride and put the bikes away deciding to clean them in the morning when it was light. The shed got broken into over night and the theif stole the clean £20 bike and left the others. How lucky were we!
