Are 1/8" chainrings available for 130mm BCP cranks? Am I stuck using 144mm BCP?
If I want to use 1/8" cogs and chainrings, what are my options for cranks? What do you all use?

You can always run a 1/8 chain on a smaller chainring. Just not the other way around.

Harris sells Stronglight 1/8" in 130mm. Very french. Not cheap at $50 but i am realizing that is about par for a good chainring.

as you probably know, Harris (allegedly) has a wide selection of chainrings in most sizes.
me, i just switched to 1/8" because of the increased availability of rings in 144bcd. (And cuz I needed to replace my cog and ring, so why not?) My bike came with a Sugino 75 crankset which I want to keep, but the ring is worn.
I got an FSA 1/8" 47t ring. Looks tough as nails. Haven't installed it yet. and have a 17t Phil cog on order from my LBS. Will install all alongwith new chain when I build my new wheels.

Sugino 75 comes with 1/8" rings right?

not mine...it was 3/32. it was used, on a used bike, so i doubt it was in its original configuration. However, the chainring does say "sugino 75" on it.

not always. mine were 3/32" stock on a KHS. stamped w/Sugino75 *and* NJS approved.
TA makes 130mm BCD 1/8" rings as well. $60 though, http://www.peterwhitecycles.com/chainrings.asp
Miche makes 1/8 rings for 135mm campy-standard.
everyone makes 144 BCD 1/8" rings (Sugino, Shimano, Campy, FSA, ....). 144mm 3/32" rings are widely available too (Sugino, Blackspire, Shimano...) .
151 BCDs are a bit harded to find.
SO you should be able to find a 1/8" ring for whatever BCD road cranks you decide to use. Unless you pick something totally weird.
TA make 1/8" rings in both 130 and 135 mm bolt circle, as well as 144mm
