If I were going to be riding on trails about 60% of the time, on the street the rest of the time, and doing drops of about three feet, would the Specialized Rockhopper be okay? Or, are they really for bigger jumps and rougher riding?
What's the main difference between the Specialized Rockhopper and the Specialized Hardrock?

Okay, since nobody seems to be answering my other question..If I already have a FS bike is it stupid to be thinking of getting a HT instead?

Well since this isn't REAL TIME and many of us don't come on until later you need to chill as far as the time thing. Second the Rockhopper should be fine for what you want to do, and lastly a hardtail is never a bad thing to have
