I've searched and searched, but can't find anywhere onlline to purchase them from. I'm looking for the gold pads to fit the avid mechanical brakes. I live in Michigan. Any ideas? thanks.

As stated by the other two post, google EBC brakes. Go to their site and make sure they have pads for your model brake. Then go to under the same google search you should find on-line retailers. Perhaps try your lbs as well since on-prices and lbs prices for those pads does not differ much. Even if the shop does not have them they can order them from most distributors.
