Greetings bike Friends. I’ve been lurking for awhile but thought I’d register in case I decide to say anything. I live in the city of Seattle and although I’ve been biking since the age of 5 (turn 40 next month…yikes!!) I’ve really gotten into the sport this year. Currently getting into the Tour de France and scouring the web for bike stuff. I have 5 steeds in my stable including the newest, a Bianchi Eros, which I purchased a couple months ago. I love this bike and have already put about 1000 miles on including doing the Seattle to Portland ride in one day. My other bikes include a mid 80’s Schwinn Traveler (this is my city commuter), a 10 yr old Trek hybrid fitted with off road nobbies (I use this as my trail/mountain bike even though it’s a big heavy hoss), an old Shogun road bike that I’m in the process of restoring (thinking of going as a fixed gear), and my ice cream bike (this is a small Eagle that I picked up on the side of the road with a free sign on it. This bike is way to small for me, ways a ton, has fenders, a bell, and a rack and is very dorky but it makes trips to the small grocery store 3 blocks away for Ben and Jerry’s in style!)
