I have a tendancy for skin cancer (genetically, anyway I think). As a result I've been looking for longer sleeve jerseys. But I don't want cook myself.
So my criterea is:

Long sleeve, protect from sunlight.
Not overheat me.

Am I asking for impossibles here? Or are there brands out there that work?

Unfortunatley dark cloths give a better protection than bright coloured cloths. I donīt remember the exact figures but I remember I was surpriced over the amount of light passing through a white T-shirt. I believe wearing a white T was almost equal to wearing no shirt at all. Go dark, go warm:rolleyes:

Thanks Joe. They look kind of flappy, but, I'll have to check them out.

I wore suntan lotion once. I"ll never do that again. I thought I was gonna fall out.

You may want to stop by your local running store and actually try on a few Coolmax shirts instead of ordering through a catalog though.

Get a light colored long sleeve jersey made of Coolmax material.

Check our nashbar.com they have several to chose from.
