In Chi-town our transit agency the CTA is looking for ways to promote and market its bicycle facilities to generate more usage.
They have bike racks inside the rail stationhouses, bus racks, and they let bikes on the trains during non-rush hours.
Are there any marketing/promotional programs or strategies that have tended to draw a lot of people to combine bikes and transit as opposed to driving in the cities where you live?
I'm in the advocacy community and really would like to gain some insight on this.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
