I don't watch much tv so all I have is Comcast internet. If you split the line with a simple cable splitter like

you can plug one cable into your cable modem and the other into your tv. They block out most of the channels so most of it is static but a few channels come through for me (2, 3, 4, 5, and 81 which is OLN!!!). I live in Bay Area California so this might not work for everyone now that I think about it but now I don't have to wait to dl each stage from torrent.
