Road Cycling - What should I pay for this Bianchi Vigorrelli frame set?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Thinking about getting a Bianchi Vigorrelli frame set, headset, and fork and seat post. The frame is 631 Reynolds and the fork is a Bianchi carbon. Im the guy with the Bianchi Talladega - same frame but in 53 this frame is 55cm. Click on the link - its a picture of the bike, the color is not great, but the size would be good for me. What would be a good offer to make - the frame set is new - the bike new with ultegra grupo / shimano wheels retails around 1600. thanks,

Why not ask them what they want for it and then go from there. If it's new, make sure you get the manufactures warranty that would be honored by any Bianchi dealer, otherwise it's just another used frame.
buy a bianchi veloce frame instead...just as nice, only its made in italy instead of taiwan.
both have the same carbon fork.
The frame was on ebay and the reserve was not met. The highest bid was 270. I emailed the seller - they wanted 300 plus 30 for ship. I told them I was not interested at that price - maybe if it was the same color scheme as my talladega in the celeste fade to gold. They emailed back wanting a best offer. Im not sure about going with the veloce - worried about my components fitting correctly. I will ask about the warranty.
The tubesets are different and do the Chianti swillers in Italy really do a better job? Is the Veloce even available as a frameset?
The price is not that bad if you get the warranty. Do ou have options for doing better on something your stuff will fit?
About the warranty - if the frame set was a complete bike at one point, how would that effect the warranty. What would proof would give me the warranty - the receipt of the purchase of the bike originally?

The Veloce is a Bianchi Reparto Corse frame, and I personally thought it was a nicer frame than the Vigorelli's.
Neither frame is sold separately as far as I know. You can only buy Bianchis top end aluminums as single framesets from what Ive seen. These are both steel and very traditional frames.
It looks as though I might be able to get the Vigorelli frameset for 300 shipped. The seller said she would include an unused warranty form that I can fill out and send it (does that sound legit)? Anyways, Im hoping that the 55cm will give me a difference over the 53cm frame that I currently have. Shouldnt it?
