Can we stop this please? Everyone who can see this forum can go to Letour.com and see the real thing. Do we really need to have people pretend the are Phil Liggett was give us the race commentary on BF? If you are going to comment on something that is happening in the race at least give us some personal insight or prediction or something useful so we don’t have to sort through 15 pages looking for it.

That is not at all what I am saying. Read it again. We can see the play by play in better places. This forum is best for reading people's thoughts on how the race is unfolding. Just knowing that the race is unfolding adds nothing.

People enjoy it. I don't personally watch the TdF and post at the same time. When I read about a stage here, I tend to skip a lot of the blow by blow. But I don't let it bother me, because people obviously enjoy talking about it here as it unfolds.

Sorry dude. It was pretty early in the morning out here on the west coast and was pretty exciting. I don't know anyone else that was up watching live. Conversating online with someone was fun. To bad that you had to come around several hours later to read it. :rolleyes:

Don't take me wrong. I would just like to see something more added to the posts. I want to read people's opinions because they are fun to read.

I (and I think we) understand where you're coming from. We just got a little caught up watching it live. Don't worry I won't be up that early to watch live the rest of the week. 5:30 am is rough on a Sunday. ;)

Well I now understand where you are coming from since you said you had no one to share your excitement with. My wife hates watching cycling :( and all the guys at work are rednecks who would rather drive over the cyclist that is in their way delaying them from their Budweiser’s at home. So I can relate.

You have a valid point. Play by play is available on several sites. If a poster has something to add to the play by play, then it's legitimate conversation. If the post is merely a recitation of the play by play available, it merely adds noise to the thread.
