"Conference-bike." (http://www.conferencebike.com/index.html)

I saw one of these things tootling around midtown Manhattan last week. One guy was in charge, and at one point, he said 'let them all see how much fun you're having' or something like that, and all the others let out this limp 'woo-hoo'. I thought at the time it was just another one of those fake advertising campaigns, but now it's funnier if I imagine it was a bunch of execs forced to inhale noxious rush-hour traffic fumes in the name of morale.

the gif on that page is cracking me up.

hasn't this thing been on TV commercials or something? Not that I have TV, but I just brought this up to my boss, and he said that he's seen it on TV.

Damn, I want a tv.

Don't do it. They're almost as evil as the internet. ;)

i saw those conference bikes in Berlin last year, not even the most gullible American tourists were going for a spin on them!

I saw the conference bike on a morning "news" show a few months ago. Some tour company in Manhatten was doing tours of the city with one of those. They claimed there had been no negative comments from drivers while they had it out on the road.

Funny. I suppose they would still ban cell phones at a meeting.

If any of you have ever worked in an office, then you'd know that the conference bike should really have the steering turned full stop to one side and welded into place. Then it would go in circles and no one would get anywhere.

Looks like an album cover for a '60s supergroup.

I seen a blind date episode, the guy running the tour was driving and the couple were pedaling, and the dude kept swerving violently from side to side and then it tipped over and they all rolled on the pavement... the girl got pretty banged up too. Needless to say the date went downhill from there. lol
