i think i'm done with profiles, this is the 3rd set that have destructed on me. although this set has lasted years, i think i need something that is pierced like the odyssey 41 thermal's or the dk chopsticks. anyone have any experience with either?

41 Thermals are definitely the way to go; DK Chopsticks may be cheaper, but they lack the heat tresting, as well as Odyssey's superb customer service and warranty.

in all fairness i had been running these cranks for years, however there were no signs of any cracks on the welds at all, however it gave no warning, just ping.

profile made gt's cranks, they were identicle in every way except gt's were stamped "gt 4130". they also stamped the powerlite logo on the profile racing cranks for a while too.
