It is three months to the day since I purchased this bike. Today I clocked my 5,000th km. Today's 182km ride was also a fitting way to reach such a milestone if I do say so myself.

Wow, that's some major mileage, even if you do use the wrong measurement unit ;) , it's still huge, congrats!
good on ya.
I'm guessing its cause you took that little
vacation from BF. . .

What can I say? I guess I'm an addict. The more I ride, the more I want to ride.

Dang, that's a lot of miles!! I'll probably do 4000 miles this year. 99% commuting. You're on a run rate to do 3x that, maybe more. How do you find the time? Whatever, it's impressive.

Actually, my biggest problem is finding time for doing other things. It's not easy to fit in things like household chores (and around 3,300 BF posts) around all that riding. I have noticed that when one lives alone, housework tends not to do itself.

Congrats, Chris! Tha6's quite a feat. Since May 1, my distance has been...
May: 1723.08 km
June: 1678.1 km
July: 1506.68
TOTAL: 4907.86 km
I'll let you know if I manage to get 92.14 km by the end of the month [very likely, in fact].

I hope one day to do a tour across the US where I can rack up some serious, serious miles. That's my big goal.

That's pretty good! Congratulations.
What's that in furlongs? Or leagues? I know one thing: 5,000km is a heck of a lot of barleycorns. ;)

That July total is looking pretty spanky right now.
