When anyone is going out on a ride on the Capital City Trail be careful in the part by the south side of Madison they are made a new part of the path, that has been under constion for a bit. Then in Fitchburg here is a large tree down on the path, it was too big for me to move. That is in the vally of the path. I got off the path at that time, I thought it would be safter just in case there are more trees down.
Have a good ride,

Where is the tree down? I rode the capital city trail as far as the southwest trail a couple of days ago. I saw the construction, (I don't really understand what they were constructing) but I didn't see the tree, so that must have happened recently.

It was just after the start of Fitchburg, about 200 ft after you cross Fitch Hatch Road. If you coming from the south side of Madison, if your comming from the southwest commuter trail then its at the bottom of the hill after that small park when you go into the 'woods.'
