Hi all. I've been a regular reader at Bike Forums for about 3 months, but have finally become a registered user.
I was a runner before switching to biking, but I injured my knee after completing a half marathon, so I figured I'd try cycling. It has been a lot of fun and much easier on my knees. I bought my bike, a Felt F80, about four months ago. I now commute to work several days a week and try to get at least one long ride in on the weekend.
I'm looking forward to my first organized group ride this weekend and hope to complete a century ride this summer.
Bike Forums has been a great resource for me during my transition from running to biking. I'm sure it will continue to be a valuable resource as I progress to future cycling challenges like the Group Health STP!
