...during the 3 weeks of the grueling race that is known as the Tour Day France?
He talks alot about his fondness for beer... :D

I'm going to guess not until Sunday night, I'm sure. He's too methodical and focused. Though he's looser and looser in the interviews. Maybe after the ITT on Saturday? I can only imagine the party he must throw in Austin....

Maybe if he gets $hitfaced, this may take effect on Sheryl Crow's looks...

I'd doubt it, but what do I know?

i would highly doubt it. this is a man who weighs his food, avoids manual labor because he might develop muscles he can't use, and returned a watch from a sponser because it weighed too much. something tells me he isn't sipping brew on the side.
I think he sticks to a pretty strict diet during the TDF.

She looks so terrible in that picture.
Whenever one of her songs come on, my dad tells me to imagine her singing Happy Birthday.

Gotta love it when the "butt-ugliest guy" in psuedo Rock and Roll rips on Cheryl Crow
p.s. Who wants to bet that I will be tagged "gay" by the witty OP?
Yep.
Shiner Bock is his beer of choice.

I sometimes put a little windex in the the water bottles of fellow cyclists to try to a competitive edge.

Is Lance sneaking a sip of beer at the TdF?
Have you ever tried French beer?
It's worse than American beer. So, I'm sure he's not even tempted.

It's a whole city wide celebration. Pretty much EVERYone comes out, well they did last year. I'm sure this year will be a blow-out.
Shiner Bock is my favorite beer, locally brewed. So good.

sorry to be serious, but I'm sure some riders have wine or champagne at their evening meals during the Tour, right?
I can't believe they do this. I'm usually totalled after a hard 100km ride, and if I had any alcohol, I'd be TOTALLY totalled!! :p

Correct. A win guarantees a glass of champagne for the riders with dinner.....or a birthday during the race.
Stu said he was looking forward to a frothy on the 2nd rest day.

Just testing how nerdy cyclists are.
Yes, that is in fact 80's guitar god George Lynch in modern times
He's 50 years old now with body by Nautilus.
He broke his back mountain biking about 10 years ago an took a lilking to weight lifting as part of his rehab
Here he is in Dokken's heyday back in the 80s. More hair less muscle!

I doubt he's having a beer, beer is not good while riding. I definitely have beer(s) watching, maybe I'll pour a 40 on the curb for da homeboy in da tour..peace out.

As a bonified hard rock aficionado from the golden days, I'm still so embarassed by all the 80's "hair band" guitar gods. Whereas I could proudly hang a poster of, say, Deep Purple from their Fireball days, I wouldn't be caught dead hanging a poster with anyone wearing make-up (Alice Cooper exempted) and Santa Monica Blvd. poofy hair and spandex, especially while playing a "skelator" guitar. That includes Van Halen. As gay as I got was maybe Def Leppard - who's guitar work and sound I actually like more than VH, although I do like Eddie's rhythm style and songwriting more than his solos. Before you reply in defense of George Lynch, ask yourself if you really want to start a guitar god flame war with me. That said, your "ass kick" post was funny.
thank god the 80's was 20 years ago.

They make a good couple. She's obviously wearing skin moisturizer in this photo, as should all women past 30, especially if they like to hang around having fun in the sun all day while driving Santa Monica Blvd.

Hey gitarzan, you obviously play too maybe?
I so lucky Vegas rules for old fart concerts. Saw the amazing Vinnie Moore with UFO last night, K.\K. Downing and Glenn Tipton with Judas Priest last week, Steve Stevens with Billy Idol the week before. Good ole Sweaty Teddy Nugent is next week:
Here's some awesome axeslingers who I've seen since I moved to Sin City 6 years ago: Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Van Halen (3 times-don't like Hagar in Van Halen), Michael Schenker (form UFO), Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, B.B. King, Steve Morse (Deep Purple), George Lynch (Lynch Mob), Slash (Velvet Revolver)., Mick Mars (The Crue), Warren DiMartini (Ratt), Doug Aldrich(Dio, Whitesnake), Matthias Jabs (Scorpions), Peter Frampton, and the list goes on.
I even saw J.J. French and the original Twisted Sister 3 months ago! Dee Snider is a hoot.
I'm so pissed that Iron Maiden continues to blow off Vegas for Ozz Fest - Phoenix is the closest they are coming- Dave Murray and Adrian Smith rule! :D

I had stay hungry on vinyl, probably still have it somewhere
Yep.

Probably the best Texas has to offer... but nothing over all in the world of beers.
I am sure he's looking forward to being able to to drink beer and eat what he wants- I'm sure they all do. Must be a drag to be in europe and not be able to drink all that great beer (except in france, although they do brew nice beers in the alsace). At some races, like the Tour of switzerland, they get huge steins of beer on the podium instead of champagne. The Tour de Suisse is sponsored by a brewery, same for the Rund um Henninger. If you look at photos of that race, the winners are guzzling down the sponsor's beer.
ALso,it must be a drag to have to deprive yourself of all those sweets and chocolates and goodies- France (not to mention belgium switzerland and Holland) must be great for people with a sweet tooth.
