I'm considering getting Dahon Roo El electric folding bike ... but I haven't found too many people who have actually ridden one. I've also heard that A to B Magazine has a review of it in their June 2005 issue, but I don't know how to get ahold of that in the states.
My reason for thinking folding bike is a total lack of storage space and unforgivable weather in Texas. I haven't had experience riding one at all. But I like the idea.
My reason for think electric is that (a) I have a bad back, and hill climbing on my bike sometimes triggers it, and thus a bit of assist sounds nice; and (b) it's about 105 degrees here every day during the summer, and commuting can become impossible on a bike ... but, with a little boost, maybe I could handle it.
Thoughts?
