Professional Cycling - Anyone else have Paul and Phil in their heads all day long?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It happens every year: by the second week of the Tour I have SherLigget in my head all day long, giving play-by-play and color on every. little. thing. for example:
Ligget: He's going to staple those papers now! It's amazing how many he has together there!
Sherwin: Well he's been using the Slimline for three seasons now--
Ligget: And there he goes! The paper is stapled!
please, please please tell me I'm not the only one with their voices following me around all day....
Ligget: it's Basso attacking, ...he's making coffee
Sherwin: he likes the Illy brand, three seasons now
Ligget: ..sorry, not Basso, DocRay
Sherwin: he'll stir around about 20 seconds..19..18..
Ligget: he's making another cup! another cup!
Ligget: ...sorry, that was just the replay...
My wife wants the Trek Lucky 7 contest to have a day of Phil and Paul commenting her local club ride.
".....well Marge reaches into her deep suitcase of courage, and confronts the boss.."
"she's on fire!" "she's red-eyed!"

That's a really cool idea.
"He's in a spot of bother now"...
I hear of other people saying this happens to them. IT's like thinking in your mother's voice- we all do that! But i hear phil and paul all the time. "She's going up mount pleasant, the name belies a narstee BEAST of a climb..." "There she is out in no man's land..." "You know paul, I believe that bird is great black backed gull, a type of albatross..." "She's in a spot of bother....that narstee hunger knock..."
I have that stupid OLN theme in my head all day long. 3 notes: 'Nah... Nuh.. Nah'. Repeated over and over and over. I'm not sure if it was last year or the year before, but the theme was way better. Anybody have videos of prior years' theme and the OLN TdF introduction graphics?

Whenever I'm on a long ride and I start to feel tired, I start egging myself on with their voices.
I hate it when my imaginary voices start telling me that the "elastic has snapped!"
On a side note, I may get a chance to hear Ligget's voice on one of my rides for real.
The ride for the Davis Phinney Foundation is here in Loveland (A suburb of Cincinnati) and Phil is going to be on the ride.

Me too!
Example...coming back from a commercial and the camera is on me...
Phil: "We're back, and Paul look at this. The guy with a fake hip continues to show the way up here."
Paul: "Well Phil, he's got the field around-about eight minutes in the rears. And you just see this bite-ryda's bo-dee is wracked with pain."
Phil: "Well indeed Paul. He does look like he's found a spot of bother now on this climb."
Paul: "But look at him Phil....he's all over his machine now giving it everything he can to stay up front."

Well, how about this problem. Used to seeing Lance tear up the competition, with 110 rpm cadence. Then, you go on the road, inspired by that, and try to ride like Lance ... and you totally blow yourself up.
I hate it when that happens!!!!

I had "he's all over his machine" circling in my head yesterday...
I thought I was the only one who did this. You guys are cracking me up. Keep up coming!

"Oh my goodness me!" by Phil over and over again.
My 2 favs
"he's dropped his bottle on this descent" and "he's literally turning himself inside out to catch him"
Jason
I keep hearing Paul with "these guys are throwing absolute caution to the wind!"
