$hit son... my new vacation... this is what I wanted... phew - and I thought I had to actually train to prolevel to get closed roads & feed zones :p
Is anyone going to take out 3 weeks of vacation for this?

Freaking unbelievable... Hats off to all the participants...
This year it was pretty much the same as the stage 16 (Mourenx to Pau) and the winner did it in 5:22:09... He also won in 2002... You can read about it here:

Good article. That blew the doors off the Christian Science Monitor article where they sent the fat out-of-shape guy to do one slope.

Yeah, I read a similar article on BBC News where an average cycling hack (like you and me) rode up to Pau, the hors categorie climb Hincapie won over. With scenery like this (http://www.cyclingnews.com/photos/2005/tour05/?id=features/letape05/corniche), I'm going to have to consider giving this a look.
