Not sure if this is the right forum but.. here goes.
Well, I'm out of shape.. I've just faded out of the sport of riding, and want to get back into it. I mean, I'm not totally out of shape. What are some good ways to get back into shape? I've got the following options as far as other excersizes, trampoline, basketball, and running. I can't run for jack diddly though.. Plus, I'm going on a cruise to Bahamas on Friday so I'm kinda put off until I get back.. Basically, I wanna kill about 20 pounds, I'm 173 and 5 ft 5.. Sad huh? I wanna be about 145-155 or so.. So, help me out here! I'm trying to un-lazy myself.

riding is the easiest way to get in shape. low impact and stuff. just go do 5 miles a day or something easy like that

Eh, if I knew how many miles I usually rode. I could calculate that, but I dunno. I probably get in a mile or two usually. I could probably push 5 easy, if I could figure a route out >_>

You really need a bike computer to track your miles and time in the seat. Another way would be to check your bike route with your car. For me the way to progress is to keep track of your miles and slowly increase your distance over time.

Good Luck
