Too bizarre.
Saw another naked fan yesterday.

Think about this....
At some point it makes sense to a guy at the TDF to say to himself...'You know what, heck, I'm just gonna drop my pants and run naked next to the riders....yeah....that's it....this will be great."

Really though, that point probably comes somewhere after the 12th beer. :beer:

After the searing temperatures, the thin atmosphere of the mountains, the days of drinking beer and wine in the gorgeous french countryside. After basking in the glory of the sport, the glory of sport itself. That is when you drop your trousers, grab your oversized flag and charge screaming up the mountain in front of cameras and cyclists. That is the moment that you are one with the riders, one with the fans, one with the world...

Or so I've heard.

Did you hear the commentators? They didn't mention a word about it... until Bob Roll said "The naked truth..." a minute later- in reference to something else. Hilarious.

Guess what today's stage was like? You guessed it! Fast and hard. Not to mention really hot. So hot that one guy had to take all of his clothes off to cool down. Not a racer thankfully, a fan.

If you watched the coverage maybe you saw him running with us. You just never know what you're going to see at the tour. You do know that you're going to see a lot of people acting crazy on the side of the road - but naked? <snip>

Maybe when you've been living in, and sharing with others, a campervan or even sedan for 2-2 1/2 weeks without showering often or doing laundry. Clothes (the ones you started with, at least) are probably not the best idea... but then you've got other more important issues if you're that infantile.

They are not even sponsored by Golden Palace, don't they know they could be making dough while being fools.

I have never officially read it, but more than likely it is a OLN policy not to mention or bring attention to "a streaker."

This is done so as not to give a spotlight to such activity in order not to encourage it to happen more.

However, if you dress up like the devil you will get lots of screen time. ;)
