I have a Dahon Boardwalk 6, but the bike is very small for me. I am 6'3" 220 lb, when I ride the Dahon I have the seat tube fully extended and it is still a little low and my knees almost touch the handlebars. It seems like all on the folding bike like the Dahon are one size fits all, which they don't. Is there any decent folding bikes made in larger sizes without spending an arm and a leg?

Perhaps you should look at the Dahon 26" full size frames like the Jack. It comes in 3 frame sizes and should fit you alot better (the large size should fit). Then test ride if you can do so.

Have you checked out the Dahon site - in their forum discussion there was a discussion on seat post extenders and there is their adjustable handlebar that you can add on. The thread is under wishlist and here is the quote from dahon " We do have a Telescoping seat post available.... You'll need to special order it from your dealer or our California office"

Check out Montague folding bicycles. You will be limited to 26 inch tires, but they have some very heavy duty choices all at reasonable prices.
