Ever notice how those newspaper columnists/radio show hosts/etc. who complain about cyclists being on the road tend to use the same arguements over and over? Well, with that in mind it is time for a drinking game!

1 Drink: Everytime they say "bikes do not belong in the road".

1 Drink: Everytime they state the obvious by saying "my car is bigger than your bike".

3 drinks: If they hint at purposefully or 'accidently' hitting you with their car.

1 Drink: Every time they say "Bikers don't pay to be on the road".

1 Drink: If they think gas taxes actually pay for the roads.

3 drinks: If they think a liscensing system for bikes would actually do anything cost more money.

1 Drink: If they complain about "stupid little helmets".

1 Drink: If they complain about "faggy spandex".

6 drinks: If they complain about spandex in such a way that it is obvious that it is making them question their sexual orientation.

1 Drink: If they think that the Tour De France actually means more bikes on the road.

1 Drink: If they say that a group of riders is just trying to imitate the TdF

5 Drinks:Stock phrase used: "Lance Armstrong wannabees"

1 Drink: If they complain that all cyclists block the road.

1 Drink: if they complain that all cyclists run red lights and stop signs.

9 drinks: If they complain about the above two happening on 25mph local roads that they want to be their own personal speedway.

Any more?

They're funny. I actually like listening to the arguements against riders. It's funny they can't find anything else to say, says alot for their arguement.

Have you ever noticed that radio hosts will never complain about peds? True they don't walk on the roads (well most of the time), but they do cross the road at points other than crosswalks and seem to play "chicken" with cars. They would never advocate running a ped off the road but it seems that with bicycles it's okay!
