Professional Cycling For the Fans - Did they change the final climb helmet rule?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. This is my second year wathing the TDF religiously, and I remember that last year the riders were allowed to ditch their helmets on the finishing climb of a mountain stage. Did they change that rule this year?

yes
Obviously that was a sensible decision. But I thought it was kind of cool to see them all sans-helmet.

Not sure why traveling at 20kph up a 8% grade requires a helmet.
I understand all the arguments but ditching a helmet on the final climb was cool and the riders are not in any danger at that speed.

Beltran was hit by a car when riding uphill and fell on his head hard enough to cause a concussion and subsequently was prevented by a TdF doctor from continuing the race... Rare, but happens... ;)

I tripped over a stair one time...I think we should make everything ramps.
There was another time that...oh never mind

I believe Trikie hit another riders wheel, it was Popo who hit the CSC car...and went on to lead out Lance for his explosive attack which dropped most of the competitors on the same stage....
