I am thinking of re-painting my bike or just clearcoating it after removing all of the paint that is currently on it for a natural finish. How should i go about stripping the paint from the bike? Any specific products you could reccomend that work better than others? Anyone ever do this before and could offer some hints?

I did it once, at the auto parts store they carry stuff that you spray on a car to remove paint. It states on it that it is safe for aluminium even. It works well is aobut $5 or so if I remember correctly. Just dont' get it on you're hands it burns :)

You could also go down to you're local car paint shop, ask them to strip and clear coat..
