I have the opportunity to buy the following but know zero of classic/vintage bikes: Giant Kronos, very good shape $60. Ross Signature road bike with Excage (spelling?) drivetrain I think, $20. Sorry that's all I know. Can you give me any guidance? Thanks.

The Ross Signatures were very nice to really, really nice bikes. For $20 bucks you can't go wrong, and you might get really, really lucky. Someone here could really tell you something if you posted a pictue and/or posted what all the decals on the bike say.
