White Men Can't Jump

While staying inside, watching cable TV today (recovering from a cold :( ), I caught White Men Can't Jump with Wesley Snipes, Woody Harrelson and Rosie Perez, about a couple of guys who make money hustling other players on public basketball courts around LA. The movie has good action sequences, corny writing at times, contrived racial dialogue and some funny moments, especially the scenes with Jeopardy and Alex Trebec.

I'd watched it few times before, but I just noticed that Wesley plays ball wearing cycling caps, one Colnago and one Time. Although he never rode a bike in the movie, I thought it was a cool touch by the wardrobe designer.

I think it's funny when he gets schooled in the free throw competition they have.

I haven't seen it in a long time, this makes me want to go to Wal-mart and see if they have it, if not, Blockbuster to rent.

Hot bod or not, the Elmer Fudd on helium voice is a definite turn off. :D
