Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
He's probably done more for American road cycling than any other person. I was really glad to hear he won his seventh consecutive Tour de France.

Lance is fantastic, or was now he's retired. Don't forget though that he has a team to help him, and that is something that he tells us all. Still, fantastic achievements and I am glad to say, that I have watched all 7 of his wins on the TV and been an avid follower of his achievements. There are not many road riders that I can say that of, and it will be a long time before anyone can come anywhere near his record.
Simply amazing what he's accomplished. He's just so focused as an individual that I have little doubt that his success will continue beyond cycling.

I think the nay-sayers have justifiably been silenced and that it will be a very long time before anyone accomplishes a feat that compares with this unbelievable effort. I didn't take him as seriously as I should have when he started winning several "Tours" even though I knew the testicular cancer story, but it certainly is something that inspires awe when you consider the difficulty in just winning one such race.
