Hi,

I've been into mountain biking for a couple of years and just as I was getting into it the Foot 'n' Mouth came out...which was a bit of a drag since we could only use the roads for cycling since all parks, paths etc were closed to the public. That was when I was sitting on my backside watching the Tour de France with the flu that I realised that I could get a road bike (Specialized Allez A1)instead and since then I've never ridden my MTB (GT Arrowhead)

I'm 32 living with my wife and son who is 4 months old in a 12/13th century village called Harbury near Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire UK and currently working for a very large American Telco company as a Wide Area Network Analyst.:crash: :crash:

Well, thats me!

bye for now

Hi Macca:

Welcome to the forums.

I'm sort of shopping for a road bike right now. Still love my hybrid though. Been out of the saddle with a kidney stone for a few weeks but should be back at it in about a week.

Like you, I got to sit around and watch the tour this year. Sure is frustrating not to be able to ride.

Again, welcome.

Carl

Isn't it amazing that a young handsome mountin' bike Brit from the heart of the mother country and an Oklahoma Grandfather in the U.S southwest can meet in the cyberworld and truly enjoy each others company?

WELCOME!

P.S. We accept photos of 4mo. old future cyclists
