Couldn't resist bidding on this item (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7170744905&ssPageName=MERC_BidConfirmEmail) at EBay - the one I won the bid on is exactly the same - as I needed a small pannier (well, not really, as I already have 4 single panniers for 5 bikes) but still could not resist these for a high bid of $17.00 plus shipping of $13.

So, what in the heck did I get, anyways? I am referring to the Blackburn part and the quality of the panniers. :D

Sucker of the year!

Um, you got some front panniers. They go on a small front rack in a similar way to rear ones. Most likely they will fit on a rear rack.

That I knew. I was just curious if anyone knew the quality of the panniers. I took some (perhaps incorrectly) comfort in knowing they were Blackburn (hopefully that refers to the panniers themselves, not their mounting option). Sorry my post was misleading. I will change the original post.

One of the problems is that I never heard of Blackburn manufacturing panniers, and Google was of little help!
