So, I've finally decided on a bike, sort of. But before I commit, I was wondering if there are any people that can give some opinions on this bike and it's three different models. Such as, if the improvements from one model to the next are worth the price difference. And maybe if someone has tried it on the road, how it feels.

Here's a link for these wondering what i'm talking about.

Oh, and does anyone know if the 2006 models are out, or coming out soon? they seem to be advertising/hinting on it on their main page.

Thanks.

I'd wait for the new slayer, from what I hear it is supposed to be amazing.

If you can get a good deal on the 05, knowing that the new design is just around the corner then go for it.

As for the 30/50/70, I'd go for at least the 50 to get the Fox fork and the X-type crank. Not sure if the 70 is worth it, the fork has more adjustment and the drivetrain is upgraded to XT rather than LX, plus a higher end RF crank. Personally for my $ I'd get the 50.

Hmm, any ideas as to when the new Slayers should be coming out?
