Did my first ride with the Crank Bros Candy's. Feel different from my SPD's but needed a change after my last 33 miles mudfest where I fought getting in them (spd's) all day. Bought the $50 specials from performance.com. Bright yellow matches the swingarm so I can live with the color choice. Getting out is a little different due to the extra float from the spuds but after and hour or so, no big deal. My knees feel much better than normal after 2 hours in the dirt. Haven't been able to try them in the mud yet since it's been 80 plus for the last few weeks but I can wait until fall. :D

I just did my first ride with my Mallets. I loved them. It's great having a full pedal and still being able to clip in. I can ride in my flip-flops around the neighborhood even though the egg-beaters stick up a little. I've ridden a pair of borrowed Ritchey SPDs and some caged (toe-clips) pedals before, and these are great.
