Hi,
I Am 16 And New To Biking Or Should I Say Road Biking But I Havent Bought A Bike Yet. My Friends Moms Boyfriend Worked For One Of His Friends And In Return He Was Paid For His Efforts With A Schwinn Road Bike (i Dont Know Te Model). I Took It Out For A Test Ride And Loved It, The Next Day I Rode About A Mile In About 10 Minutes, I Know That Thats Probably A Long Time But Moving From 20 Min. On A Bmx Bike To 10 Min. Is Crazy. So I Went To The Local Bike Store Called Bike 'n' Sport Located In Santa Fe, Nm. I Went To Go See Wich Bike I Could Afford And It Looks Like The Jamis Ventura Sport Is The One For Me, The Guy Helped Me Out A Lot And I Was Convinced That I Was Going To Buy A Bike And Start Riding. I Have Been Riding Mountain And Bmx Bikes All Of My Life And Working On Them So I Am Not New To The Way They Work And How To Fix Them. If Anyone Could Help Me About What To Buy For Starting Off Or Give Me Some Tips. I Have The Money To Buy The Bike But Am Just Waiting To See What Others Will Say.

I have a Schwinn road bike and a Trek cyclocross ( for occassional ruff stuff ) and I love them both. The Schwinn was given to me and Trek cost more than my last car. You can spend however much you want, but you don't have to spend a lot to get started. Happy Riding.
