The last 4 times I've been out on the Litespeed I have heard what sounds like a rubbing noise coming from the rear wheel. I only hear it when sitting on the bike. No sound when its on the workstand or when I'm pushing the bike and looking and listening. I can look down at the rear wheel while riding and hear the sound every revolution. It is not a continuous sound.
The spokes may need to be tightened as they don't sound "right" when they are plucked. They make a plunk sound.
Could it be that my weight on the bike is making the wheel go slightly out of round if the spokes are loose and it is rubbing against the front derailleur clamp? I don't see any wear marks on the clamp.
Could it be something in the hub?
It isn't a metallic sound.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
