My sincerest admiration for that effort.

Congradulations!!!!
I hadn't thought about taking pics for comparison. I tend to avoid the camera like the plague. I am down to 329 from 352 3.5 weeks ago. What has been working for you? I've been doing the smaller portion/healthier food and more exercise...Lots more exercise and less time at my computer...although this forum is evil for sucking time. Biking and Armored combat in the SCA and soon weight training are my prefered activities.
Keep up the good work!!!
So glad to hear these stories. As someone who was once well over 300 pounds, I can say I truly appreciate all teh hard work you're doing and how good you probably feel. Keep at it, it's worth every bit of hard work when you hit your goal.

I am 350# at 5'11" and hope to get down to at least around 200# or at least low 200's.

Congrats man and keep it up. I was in a similiar boat a couple years ago. Eating bad, smoking, and drinking took me up to 255 and size 42 waist. I am just under 5'11". My wife encouraged me to start working out and being healthy.
Cycling helped me shed those pounds - I commute to work and do longer rides on the weekend. I have found that keeping your heart rate below 150 bpm will help burn existing fat on the body. I combined cycling with "brisk" walking. Sounds stupid, but it works.
I regularly do charity rides/races. My favorite - MS150. I would suggest you sign up for as many rides, runs, and walks you can. Whatever you can to keep yourself active.
I am down to 216 and a size 36 waist.
Keep on rocking man.

You're rocking man, keep up the work.
Just weighed in at 177 myself - you'll really appreciate all the work when you break 200 - trust me on this one.

Hey guys, all those pictures are great. Its awesome to see there are other people out there going for it too.. Makes me feel a lot less alone.
Just did one of myself to celebrate having lost 20kg as of last week. Still a lot to go though. Couldn't have done it without my bike :)
