I dunno. Half way through i started to imagine if someone wrote an article on my profession that made it sound so romantic, idealized, and glorified and I just started to laugh. I stopped reading it after that.

I actually thought it was probably the best article I've read about messenger events. Usually they're completely bombastic and full of breathless schoolgirlism.
The one at least had an even tone and dealt with what actually happened rather than filling it with tons of quotes from shameless ego promoters.
It's not an article about messengering, it's an article about CMWC '05 with a necessary discussion of how it comes about and how it relates to the profession. Good read.
