Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - post pictures of your bailey works bags (XL ones please!)

I'm trying to decide between a L and XL superpro baileyworks bag, but the site doesn't really have much for pictures & scale. anyone wanna help?

The XL looks exactly the same, just an inch or two wider. If you're not sure, and aren't worried about the bag not riding so well empty (the L's and XL's, but XL's more, are known to slip around from your back to your front when they're empty), just go with the XL. It's not going to really let you carry much MORE, just things that are a tad bit wider. I can fit the big envelopes width wise in my XL, but I probably couldn't with the L, they just barely fit.

Tell you what, get the bigger one and then you can carry more crap. You can always shrink down a bigger bag, but it is harder to make a small bag accomodate big things, esp if you want them dry.
I wish I was more computer literate to take a pic of my xxl bailey works man purse, complete with extra layers, size 15 shoes, work stuff, cds, 3 nalgenes, coffee cup.

while bag shopping, i searched bf and could not find a pic of an XL. i ended up getting a used one on ebay, so i decided to take pics for everyone to see.

empty. for reference, i'm 5'9", 150 lbs. it wraps around a little- a little bit too big for an everyday bag (for my taste), but totally do-able. besides, i have another bag for commuting. this one is my HAUL TONS OF CRAP bag.

this was my old grocery-getter. not really practical in traffic and hill-climbing. . . .so i sold it and bought the baileyworks:)

I have a large and can fit A LOT of stuff in it. The XL will probably be way to big.

i have a chrome (im in the wrong section i know) but i got the largest one, the Kremlin. Im not here to tell you about chrome but im goin to say that it would be better to be over than under prepared. So what if the bag is a lil more than needed, now you will have an official trunk for your bike. Like others said go with the larger because it may be very useful one day when you carry something larger than you expected. Dont make the mistake i made of going smaller and wanting bigger (it saves $ and regrets)

I had this same problem last year trying to decide between a medium and large SPro. I called Bailey Works to see if they had any suggestions. The very nice lady said she could send me both if I didn't mind putting it on a credit card till I returned them. She even had the two colors I was interested in to compare. It made it really easy to decide - stuffed them both, tried on the bike, made a decision. Ordered the medium with the double side pockets and returned the 'samples'. They credited my card as soon as they received them back. BTW, great bag!

I have a chrome too and the Kremlin size is nice, but my XL sized Bailey works is large enough that I've never been able to not fit stuff in it.

EDIT: Sorry, I was tired last night, but I have a XL and not a Large. Go with the XL.

this is an old thread i revived, so i doubt the OP is still looking for a bag. i just wanted to show off my XL:) sorry for any confusion!

If you want a good way to gauge the size differences between the L and XL, get the bags measurements from the Baileyworks site and then go to the site below. I had a large and it was pretty big.
