Has anyone noticed the tape that is being used on USPC teams knees. I heard it is some kind of sports tape. Anyone let me know.

I've wondered the same thing. I have a Clif Bar promotional poster (a freebie from Clif) of a straight-on shot of the Posties from last year's Team Time Trial and they have a pink-ish adhesive tape on some of their knees. Hmmm!

Maybe send an email to Tyler Hamilton or George Hincapie's websites and ask.

i don't know the answer.

Where is the tape on their knees? If only some have the tape, it is possible the tape is their due to injury.

When I messed up my knee running, I used a knee band about 2 inches above the knee cap. This put pressure on the IT Band in such a way that I could get around without pain.

I know they are not running, but I also know you can damage your knees or strain muscles while biking.

It would be interesting to see what Tyler Hamilton or George Hincapie say about it.
