Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I've stupidly gotten behind on my stretching and I'm worried that my 40 K plus rides everyday will soon cause me an injury.
Does anyone know of a good site (with pictures please - I'm a little slow) on proper road-biking appropriate stretches. Or is there a string here already that I've missed.
Thanks for your collective indulgence!
Yes. I have the perfect recommendation: the book called "Stretching", by Bob Anderson. It's the best book out there with recommended stretches by sport, and also gives beginning, intermediate, and advanced stretches so you can work on increasing your flexibility. It also highlights the muscles being stretched so you're clear where you should be feeling the stretch.
Get it used at amazon.com or some other bookstore or website.

Thanks K. You never know what wisdom you can find in a cup of Java!
Crappers. I didn't see where you're from.
If you need me to, I can copy the pages for the cycling and just send them if you can't get your hands on that book.
But try to get it first, of course.

That is so sweet! I'd love something for free. Up here in the wild north, I can usually get most things - especially books even though they may be published by a different company and may cost marginally more.
I'll check out my local book store and push come to shove, I'll just order it from Amazon.ca (the crazy Canuck version of Amazon.com.
Thanks again for your offer!
