This is bizarre. Severe storm blows down tree limb.
Michael Thomas Burke, 27, an Iowa native, was killed early Monday when a tree limb fell on his tent during a storm. He and two friends were camping in this yard at Eighth Avenue and Fifth Street in Sheldon, authorities said. Burke was an unregistered RAGBRAI participant riding this year with friends from the University of Iowa, where he graduated in 2001.

An early-morning storm ravaged the riders' campsites, tearing tents apart and ripping limbs from trees, a storm even some veteran riders called the worst ever on RAGBRAI.

This happens all the time in Oz. Gum trees. Wussy. No roots weak limbs. River gums drop their limbs all the time, no wind required. Other gums just keel over.
