i've been looking at some compact aluminum road frames...some come with a carbon seatpost, others don't. does anyone have a seatpost like this on their bike? did it help make for a more comfortable ride??? (considering other factors remained constant, ie. tires) TIA...
carbon posts dampen vibration and flex a bit more than aluminum for a more comfortable ride. I really can't tell that much. It does dampen but feels otherwise similar. They are nice and light though!
